Unimaginative and unsatisfying, the very average We Own the Night, is filled with cookie-cutter cops, garden variety bad guys (when it doubt, insert Russian mob) and a presentation so bland, you’ll be screaming for more bullets and Eva Mendes make-out scenes. Not necessarily in that order.
