The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz denies the appearance of nude scenes according to blogging douche bag Perez Hilton.

In direct response to jokes told by Jamie Campbell-Bower regarding his shedding of clothing, Weitz deemed it necessary to stem the tide of complaining  parents regarding the much ballyhooed adult content. (Were you also hoping for a certain Ms. Kristen Stewart appearing in the emo-buff? You’re a cad. )

Weitz dismisses the chatter as being a part of Cambell-Bower’s “dry sense of humor.”

“I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi (characters) are not naked,” said the director. “Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in the book! — fully clothed.”

New Moon is due out November 20, 2009.
