In Reel Loop’s weekly teaser recap, here are the trailers for Whiteout, Grace and The Box in case you missed it on the other thousands of movie sites.

In the latest snow thriller staring Kate Beckinsale, “A U.S. marshall tracking a vicious murderer through the Antarctic must locate the killer before the sun sets for six months, or risk being trapped in the dark with the madman for months on end in director Dominic Sena’s adaptation of the graphic novel series by Greg Rucka.”

It’s a fan boy world. You’re just livin’ in it.

Whiteout opens September 11th.

The horror genre has about as many problems as a gay Keelber elf (Think about it. It’s not easy being a homo elf trapped in a tree making cookies with other sweaty elves. I’m just sayin’…). Plaqued with retreads, torture porn and the occasional comic book adaptation, horror has never been this dismal.

It was with some fanfare that Grace hit the scene at Sundance this past year. Some viewers were actually passing out during the screening. Passing out, not from drugs they were probably on (black tar) but from the palpable fright from the film.

“After losing both her unborn child and husband in a car crash, Madeline Matheson (Jordan Ladd) decides to carry her child to term. Miraculously, the baby is born alive, but it soon becomes clear something is wrong when the baby begins to smell strange, attract flies…and develop a craving for blood.”

If that doesn’t say fun, I’m not sure what does. (Gay Keebler elves?)

Grace opens August 14th in limited release. (Sorry Kansas)

I like Cameron Diaz. She’s bubbly, fun and not afriad to “go there” for a joke. Sure, she could be annoying, tired and a sideshow but Diaz also has that x-factor suits are always talking about. I bet they were talking about her legs…

In The Box, based on the Richard Matheson (I Am Legend) short story,  a mysterious stranger offers Norma (Diaz) and her husband Arthur (James Marsden) $1 million American to push a button. Sounds easy enough…but WAIT. Said button will kill someone they don’t know.

Push it and take the money? Or don’t push it and sleep at night? Their call.

The Box opens October 30, 2009.

So readers, which one looks like a winner?
