Will Elle Driver return for ‘Kill Bill Vol. 3′?
Even though a third entry (or second, depending on how you look at it) in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill saga won’t come for a long time (the director says he is looking into another project at the moment), that hasn’t stopped online blogs from covering every morsel of news on the project. <cough>
Tarantino has already stated that Kill Bill Vol. 3 will take place ten years after the death of Bill in Kill Bill Vol. 2 so that The Bride and her daughter can return to normal life…only to have it shattered. So with Bill gone (RIP David Carradine), who is left to seek revenge on the The Bride aka Beatrix Kiddo for seeking revenge on them in the first place? Maybe Elle Driver?
In an interview with Film24, Daryl Hannah said that, story-wise, having Elle return for the next film may make sense.
“Think about it,” says Hannah, 49. “There’s always been a tradition of blind Samurais and you never actually saw her expire in the other film.”
