Sam Raimi May Direct ‘The Shadow’
‘The Shadow’ reboot advances with a new director?

The Shadow knows the ladies
With Sam Raimi (Drag Me to Hell, Evil Dead) out as director of Spider-Man 4, perhaps his involvement in the reboot of The Shadow will be a bit more hands on?
Raimi is currently attached to the Columbia project as a producer but sources over at IESB are stating that the iconic horror director will be looking to direct the feature as well.
The film follows the adventures of The Shadow who fights crimes with psychic powers. In the 1994 version, Alec Baldwin played the title character. The story was based on the radio plays during the 1930s and 1940s.
The new Shadow was written by Slavash Farahani.
Sony decided to change course on Spider-Man 4 and replaced Raimi with (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb.
