Clint Eastwood Continues to Kick All Other Movie Stars’ Asses
Clint Eastwood edges out Johnny Depp and Denzel Washington as America’s Top Dog
Despite the general lack of public enthusiasm surrounding his latest directorial job, Invictus, Clint Eastwood’s reign as one of mankind’s foremost badasses remains airtight.
According to Harris Interactive’s yearly poll, which is an online survey completed by over 2,200 grown-ups, between December 7-14, the man formerly known as Dirty Harry is America’s favorite 2009 movie star, usurping the previous year’s throne-lounger Denzel Washington, who drops down to the third slot. Eastwood top position is a one-spot ascension from his number two seed in ‘08.

The poor millionaires who’ve fallen off the top-ten mountain, after having made the cut last time, are Will Smith, Harrison Ford and Angelina Jolie.
