James Franco, Kirsten Dunst talk Spider-Man reboot
Original ‘Spider-Man’ stars are sad and skeptical over new reboot
Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst, who played Peter Parker’s girlfriend in the series, expressed sadness over Sony’s new plans to reboot the series. “It’s sad to see it end,” Dunst told E!. “I think for Sam [Raimi] it was time for him to move on, and so we’re all going to move on with him. But we’ve had a good ten years.”
James Franco, who was an intrical part of the theatrical franchise, was skeptical of the decision for the studio to rework the series in a relatively short of amount of time since the release of Spider-Man 3. “It worked out well for Batman, and comics themselves have different artists and writers,” says Franco. “I think it’s perfectly fine. I think for the viewers you want a little space [between films], so you can get everyone else out of your head.”
Dunst, along with director Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire, left the franchise after Sony’s decision to reboot the series.

Yeah, I'll be the first to make a comment….hahahahahha…intrical? Did someone just get paid to write "intrical," as in "integral?"
Even Spell Check would've fallen over laughing at that.
Classy.
