‘Tekken’ Trailer Fails to Impress
Did you have any idea that there was a Tekken film in production, based on the series of fighting video games? Neither did I! But I’m really not the target audience for this film: after a while, Tekken and Virtua Fighter and all of their brethren just looked the same to me.
And if Tekken isn’t a name brand that’s going to draw an audience, then it’s very doubtful that this trailer is going to win over the populous. This film looks worse than Street Fighter.
Starring Luke Goss, scripted by Alan McElroy (Wrong Turn 2 and 3) and directed by Dwight H. Little (Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid), Tekken will be released sometime this year. Check out the trailer below, and ignore the annoying little pop-ups, please!
