Production begins on ‘Thor’
It’s official. Thor has entered production.
Principal photography has begun on Kenneth Branagh’s Thor according to a statement from Marvel Studios.
Based on the screenplay from Mark Protosevich, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Don Payne, the film tells the story Norse god Thor, “whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war and result in his expulsion from the realm of Asgard.”
Now, forced to live amongst mortals, the god learns that his nemesis is plotting an invasion of earth.
Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and Renee Russo.
In addition to THOR, Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including IRON MAN 2 on May 7, 2010, THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA on July 22, 2011, and THE AVENGERS on May 4, 2012.

nothing against Chris Hemsworth, but as a fan they should of got Jouko Ahola, he would of been perfect.
