Britney Spears has been a lot of things during the past ten years. Hot. Not hot. Talented. Not talented at all. But there’s one thing that is undeniable. She’s been arguably the biggest star of the past decade.
Spears, 28, has been named the biggest star for the past decade according to a recent online poll.
Despite he rise to fame in the late ’90s with her controversial hit Hit Me Baby One More Time, Spears has dominated the music charts and has appeared countless news headlines, both online and in print for the last ten year.
The poll at PopEater found that Spears is the top celebrity of of the ’00s. 35-percent of more than 25,000 voters picked Spears above kid-collector/humanitarian Angelina Jolie, who earned more than 26-percent of the votes. Following Jolie was Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton.
