Ridley Scott’s ‘Robin Hood’ Trailer Online

A New Trailer for Robin Hood Arrives Online

The trailer for Ridley Scott’s vision of the Robin Hood legend has arrived online, looking much more akin to Gladiator 2 than any version of Robin Hood you’re familiar with.

I don’t know why I can’t get into this trailer — I suppose it’s because it refuses to reveal any markers of where Scott plans to take the story, other than a darker path we’re familiar with.

Russel Crowe looks good as ever though. Robin Hood also stars Cate Blanchett, Mark Strong, William Hurt, and Kevin Durand. While I’m disappointed in the generic nature of the trailer, I’m still excited for the film on May 14 2010. Check out the trailer below.
