Interview with Nolan North, aka Nathan Drake from Uncharted 1 and 2.

At the Spike Video Game Awards, Phillip and I caught up with Nolan North for quick interview and might I say it was both a pleasure and an honor speaking with the man himself. Nolan North is a Voice actor and has done many different works in both TV shows, movies, cartoons, and video games such as his most famous character: Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video game series.

Ilya: Any upcoming projects going on for you right now?
Nolan: There’s A few going on right now but I have non disclosures, I can say that one of them is being premiered here tonight. Oh and I met with the uncharted people the other day and we have begun talks for the third one.
Ilya: Awesome! The second one was a masterpiece
Nolan: Well that’s what I’m rooting for tonight.
Ilya: I’m thinking game of the year..
Nolan: That’s what I’m hoping for tonight, I know I’m nominated for one, but if I were to walk way with one then I would love for it to get game of the year for naughty dog.
Ilya: Everyone’s saying that your big opponent would be Modern Warfare 2 for you, but I think story wise you guys got it hands down.
Nolan: I think story wise too, I played modern warfare 2 and it’s a fantastic game! I actually played through Modern Warfare 2 but I couldn’t get through Uncharted 2. Modern Warfare 2 was good; I wasn’t in it so I want Uncharted 2 to win!
Ilya: You guys just missed mike Tyson and Kimbo Slice.
Nolan: Oh I was talking to people down there and we met mike, well I didn’t meet him cause he scares me.
Ilya and Phil: (Laughs)
Ilya: Well it’s nothing Nathan Drake cant handle!
Nolan: Well if Nathan shows up you let me know
Ilya: (Laughs) Alright well thanks for stopping by.
Nolan: It was great meeting you guys!
Phill: You too!
Ilya: Take care Nolan, it was great talking with you!
