More signs that ‘Breaking Dawn’ will officially be produced

More people talk about the Breaking Dawn movie

rl_breakingdawnIt’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be made. How could it not? Twilight madness has taken over our youth (and single moms) and with madness comes cold hard cash. Though, oddly, even after the record-setting release of New Moon, Summit Entertainment still hasn’t officially announced that the fourth entry in the Stephenie Meyer vampire series will be made. But friends, make no mistake. It’s going to happen.

In a recent interview, Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey has promised that Breaking Dawn will be headed to a theater near you.

“There’s every intention to make Breaking Dawn,” he said. On numerous occasions, series star Robert Pattinson has also confirmed that Breaking Dawn is “pretty much inevitable.”

“I think it’s going to be probably end of next year before filming,” he said talking about production kicking off before the end of 2010.

Then there is the rumor of splitting the movie into two. Meyer revealed on her website some time ago, “If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes.” Meyer went on to add, “The book is just so long! I can’t imagine how to distill it – if I could, the book would be shorter. But maybe a screenwriter can see a way to do it and still cover the crucial plot points.”
