Here’s a tidbit of news that needs little introduction: the new poster for Jon Favreau’s much anticipated Iron Man 2 has arrived on the net, showing off both Tony Stark’s sleeker Iron Man outfit as well as Rhodey’s War Machine suit. The word on the street is that we might be seeing a trailer for the film attached to Robert Downey Jr.’s next vehicle, Sherlock Holmes, when it is released on Christmas.

Iron Man 2, starring Downey, Don Cheadle, Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell, is headed your way on May 7, 2010.
