Heidi Klum Back on the Runway

6 Weeks After Birth of 4th Child, Klum is Back in Action

heidi-klum-300x400Tomorrow night CBS will be airing the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The show, which features some of the most gorgeous women in the fashion industry strutting their stuff, actually took place almost 2 weeks ago and featured a pleasant surprise for those in attendance.

Supermodel Heidi Klum, who had already been slated to host the event, ended up taking her own walk down the runway– just over a month after giving birth to her fourth child.

Klum hadn’t planned on walking in the show, but the night of decided “Why not?” and flaunted a post-baby bod that would make most women turn green with envy.

Despite still looking fantastic after giving birth, Klum admitted that she was one of the heaviest of the models participating in the show, and that she still has about 20 pounds of baby weight to lose.

The model and Project Runway host also confessed to having gained 45 pounds during the pregnancy, but says that she’s embracing her new curves and that “I’m proud of being the curvy model on the Victoria’s Secret stage.”

This may be part of the reason why Klum, unlike many celebs, isn’t trying to rush losing the extra weight added during her pregnancy. Instead, she’s taking it fairly easy, with workouts consisting simply of walking and some exercises with a medicine ball.

I don’t know about you, but for being one of the “heavier” models in the show, I think Heidi Klum looks pretty dang good. It will be interesting to watch when the fashion show airs tomorrow to see if there really is that noticeable a difference between Klum and the other models on the runway.

The one question I have though is this: If Klum, who’s 5′9″ and currently about 145 pounds, is considered curvy, what does that make the rest of us?
