Second ‘Toy Story 3′ Trailer Online
Toy Story 3 Trailer
Two of my most highly anticipated movies of next year are Disney-affiliated: Tron Legacy and Toy Story 3. My nostalgia/geek meters are going to go way off the charts.
Lee Unkrich, co-director of Toy Story 2, Monster’s Inc. and Finding Nemo, is handling the director’s chair for Toy Story 3, with a script by Little Miss Sunshine’s Michael Arndt (and surely, a great deal of input from the head honchos at Pixar).
While not quite as eloquent as the first trailer for the film, this second teaser trailer definitely gives a good impression of what we’re in store for. I’d imagine that this storyline, which focuses on aging characters that increasingly find themselves out of place in Andy’s life, will have many of the emotional beats that Pixar has displayed brilliantly in Up and Wall-E lately. There’s a lot of silliness in this trailer, though, so that will certainly put the kids in the seats.
Check out the trailer here, and see Toy Story 3 when it’s released on June 18, 2010!
