Tron Gets A Video Game

It seems Tron is coming back in full force. For my money, the mock Flynn’s Arcade at this year’s Comic Con was one of the show stealers (not the best football team ever, mind you) and I have to admit I’ve just recently seen the first film. Yes, I know. While most kids were started on Disney films at a ripe, young age, my pops chose to get me started on the right foot with RoboCop. What I found with Tron was one of the better live-action Disney films and just an all around fun little flick.

With the release of Tron Legacy next year (a.k.a. – Tron: Redemption for Michael Sheen,) the Mouse House is taking full advantage of this cult classic. It’s unclear right now who or what systems the game will be released for, but I suspect the major players can expect a copy. While more footage should expect to appear at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, here’s a short little snippet of the below. Can honestly say for me, all it did was get me much more excited for the movie.
