Robsessed – New Robert Pattison documentary
R-Pattz subject of new film

As Twilight fever reaches its crescendo, the UK distributor Revolver have latched onto the craze by making a documentary about the film’s lead and the hormonal devotion he inspires. The new feature is inevitably named Robsessed.
Made available on I-Tunes in the UK, Canada and the US, Revolver believe that the film marks an opportunity to deliver the film directly to its core audience and, according to Revolver CEO Justin Marciano, “demonstrate our belief that the future is most certainly digital”. Whilst the film is sure to have a huge demographic, the ongoing epidemic that is Robert Pattison fandom continues to inspire puzzlement in some who believe that Edward Cullen looks like a knee-cap soaked in vinegar and has a personality blander than a bread sandwich.
Revolver have, in the past, tried inventive new ways of distribution by deleting the staggered release dates between cinema, pay-per-view and DVD by releasing the feature Mum and Dad simultaneously across the disparate platforms. A similar model was undertaken by Steven Soderbergh for his film Bubble and, whilst neither film achieved great commercial success, it is apparent that many smaller films will continue to experiment with new, untraditional release methods for their films.
