Saucy hip-shaker Shakira thinks a little more makin’ love may due to the world some good.
Shakira, whose new album She-Wolf is in stores now, says that people should give in to their “natural urges.”
“I do think libido is the engine of the world. Forward or backwards. For good or ill. Sometimes when we repress our libido we regress,” she said. “When we were in the Dark Ages, it was a question of humanity somehow managing to forget about itself. We put God in the center of society, and people forgot about their own nature and desires. There was a huge deal of repression.”
Shakira is currently engaged to Antonio de la Rua. The 32-year-old added that she’s in touch with her feminine side.
“Every day now I discover something new. [I] go through phases in which I feel much more in touch with my feminine side, in ways I never thought possible,” says Shakira. “I’m letting the woman inside of me speak.”

I can't believe how utterly naive and stupid this bimbo's comments are. Doesn't she know about the sixties and the destructive aftermath of "if it feels go, than do it."? I'm glad that she helps a bunch of poor people, but her music is crap, and she is trying to justify the commercialization of sex and her complete lose of artistic integrity (She actually used to write music with "soul") Her videos and music are really a form of soft pornography, and she has no credibility as a social commentator if she is just going to repeat worn out clichés.
