John Cho joins Star Trek nation in wanting Khan for sequel

It’s no surprise that Star Trek fans want to see legendary baddie Khan return to the screen. It’s also no surprise that some cast members want the villain to return as well.

John Cho, who played Sulu in JJ Abrams’ reboot of the series, Star Trek, admitted that he wouldn’t mind seeing Khan in the sequel.

“[Khan] is the baddest of them all in my opinion and the coolest hair cut,” the FlashForward actor said. “I’m ready to bring that cut back for my own self.”

Heroes star Zachary Quinto, who played Spock in the revival, also talked Khan and William Shatner back in August.

“I think it’s going to be much better served by taking time and being clear about the story that they want to tell,” says Quinto. “Whether or not that involves Khan or Mr [William] Shatner remains to be seen.”
