J. Alexander, judge and runway coach for America’s Next Top Model, is not one to mince words.
On more than one occasion, Alexander has nearly brought ANTM contestants to tears with his bluntly honest critiques of their photos or walks.
There’s one area in which the outspoken J, more commonly referred to as “Miss J,” remains fairly candid: his personal life.
On the November 10th episode of The Tyra Show, Miss J revealed to the audience a secret he’d never shared with the public, and one which most people likely wouldn’t have guessed.
With a little coaxing from Tyra, Miss J said, “I’m a dad. Not a biological dad, but a dad.”
Miss J’s seven-year-old son Boris was conceived by a friend of Miss J and his ex-boyfriend through sperm donations. Both men made donations, but Miss J’s ex is biologically Boris’s father.
Although Miss J isn’t the biological father of Boris, he remains an active part of the boy’s life, and says that “He insists on wearing nice shoes. I think somehow my fashion genes must have slipped in there.”
