Expected: Robert Pattinson confirms production of ‘Breaking Dawn’ before close of 2010

‘Breaking Dawn’ is a go

rl_breakingdawnAt a press junket for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, series star Robert Pattinson confirmed that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will happen…as if there was any doubt. Pattinson agreed with us and called the fourth feature in the series “pretty much inevitable.”

Pattinson plays the dapper and love-stricken vampire, Edward Cullen. The 23-year-old English actor stated that he has received a temporary production schedule and that lensing on Breaking Dawn is set to begin before the close of 2010. “I think it’s going to be probably end of next year before filming,” says Pattinson.

Rampant rumors suggested that Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the series, would be split into three movies. Three movies! Twilight author Stephenie Meyer believes it should be made into two films. Two films! Neither idea seems to be coming to fruition. Fruition!

While you wait for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, how about checking out New Moon when it hits theaters on Nov. 20?
