Fans take note: ‘Twilight’ returns to theaters for Double-header with ‘New Moon’
Summit to release Twilight back into theaters
Production house Summit Entertainment will re-release the teen vampire hit Twilight in select theaters across the nation on November 19th. Twilight’s release will come one day before the release of one of the year’s most highly anticipated movies, The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Summit Entertainment is currently working with certain theater chains which will screen Twilight for one night only with midnight screenings of New Moon to show right after. No word on which theaters will show the double-header or if tickets will be available online.
Twilight was a hit when it debuted in 2008. The Catherine Hardwicke film opened with $69.6 million in the U.S. and grossed $351 million worldwide. Both Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
The sequel is expected to contain more action with a recently muscle-bound Lautner.
