Avatar lead to head to Australia for Mad Max 4
Zoinks. So which is it, gents? Tom Hardy or Sam Worthington as the lead in the upcoming Mad Max film?
Last week, we reported that hot stuff Charlize Theron and Bronson’s Tom Hardy were reportedly in talks to star in Mad Max 4. Directed by Australian filmmaker George Miller, the story in Mad Max 4 is being treated like a state secret. Now it seems said story has changed.
According to an Australian paper (remember paper?), the next Mad Max, now called Mad Max 4: Fury Road, will begin production soon in beautiful Sydney. That’s not all, the source also confirms that along with Theron playing the lead female role, the bombshell will star opposite Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation, Avatar), not Tom Hardy. Zuh?
Mad Max debuted in 1979 and starred Mel Gibson as a cop in a post-apocalyptic world. Two sequels were made in ‘81 and ‘85.
