Award-winner Megan Fox “grateful” for ‘Transformers’

Megan Fox wins best sci-fi gal at Spike TV’s Scream Awards

rl_Megan_Fox_at_Scream_AwardsIt’s amazing what a little dose of box office failure will do to a person.

While accepting the sci-fi actress award for her role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at this year’s Scream Awards on Spike TV, Megan Fox was abnormally nice and told the audience how grateful she was for the opportunity to star in the hugely successful franchise.

“I don’t usually do this, but I wanted to say something. There have been a lot of false reports about how I feel about this movie,” the bombshell said. “I just want to be very clear that I’ve always felt I’m a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film.”

During the aftermath of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ripping up box office to the tune of $832 million worldwide, Fox was quoted saying that director Michael Bay made her wash his car and went on the compare him to Adolf Hitler. Now she has turned the other cheek. Finally.

“The movie took me out of obscurity and gave me a career, and I’m completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise,” Fox said.

Her latest film, Jennifer’s Body, opened to $6.9 million and barely covered its budget by the end of the film’s theatrical run.

Rumors were flying that Michael Bay was considering killing Megan Fox’s character in Transformers 3. Something Fox has already claimed as “not true.”
