Dan Aykroyd is not ready to believe you.
Last week we reported that Bill Murray isn’t 100% on board with an upcoming Ghostbusters 3. In an interview, Murray said that he has yet to see a script and that he doesn’t want to make a third ‘Busters for the sake of simply making a third ‘Busters.
Fellow ghost hunter Dan Aykroyd has echoed these sentiments:
“Obviously its all talk until I have the following: B117B3X9, that’s a production number,” he said. “When I see the production number, then I’ll know I’m in the picture business again. But I don’t have the production number tonight.”
“We have a script, but no production number and until we have the green light, we can’t stick the pipe up into the mega-corporation and draw the honey.”
Odd that Aykroyd has seen the script but no Murray. Odder still that despite heavy, and I mean HEAVY press coverage, the production has yet to be fully realized.
Aykroyd is currently lending his voice talents to the upcoming animated musical Dorothy of Oz. He’ll be voicing the Scarecrow.
