Kristen Bell to strip with Christina Aguilera in ‘Burlesque’
Kristen Bell joins the musical ‘Burlesque’
Kristen Bell has just been added to Steve Antin’s upcoming musical Burlesque starring pop-star Christina Aguilera. Bell will play Nikki, a loose cannon rival dancer who goes ape-poop when a dancer from the sticks (Aguilera) shows up and disrupts her placement in the dance pack. Meow.
The 29-year-old actress, whose latest film, Couples Retreat, has just been released in theaters, will join the production in time for principal photography in early November. The former Veronica Mars star has been busy with not only Couples Retreat but also When in Rome and voice acting on the upcoming animated revisit of Astro Boy.
The cast of the “small town chick who tries to make in the big city” story has an impressive cast with Cher and Stanley Tucci already on board.
Burlesque is due out on November 24, 2010 from Screem Gems.
