Universal signs Isla Fisher to two new romantic comedies

Isla Fisher hooks up with two more rom-coms: Fist pump

Confessions of a Shopaholic breakout star Isla Fisher has reportedly signed on to two new romantic comedies with Universal. The Australian 33-year-old will star in Life Coach where she will play “a young woman who consults a life coach who turns out to be messed up”. Expect the film to rely heavy on fart sounds and penis jokes as Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, along with Chris Henchy are producing with Fisher.

Fisher’s other project remains untitled. It is based on One Day My Prince Will Come, a French script with French words, probably from Iowa or a French-owned African colony. No plot details have been confirmed but one can probably figure out the scenario pretty easily.

“I really have no idea what the movie is about. I’m some girl who wants to get hitched, I’m waiting for a guy, guy shows up, we fight, whatever,” the redhead told me during a quick interview. “Can I have my purse back?”
