Danny Trejo completes ‘Machete,’ moves over to ‘Predators’
Trejo moves from blades to ‘Predators’
Wow. That was quick.
Now that Robert Rodriguez’s Machete has entered post-production, Danny Trejo will now move over to the famed director’s other project: Predators.
Directed by Rodriguez’s pal Nimrod Antal, Predators is a reboot of the hit series that originally starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura and Carl Weathers who sadly never landed a cush governorship. The 1987 film, Predator, spawned a sequel in 1990 and two Alien Vs. Predator movies in the mid-2000s.
No word on which role the 65-year-old Trejo will play but something tells me that it’ll be something arse-kicking.
Predators revolves around a group of stranded travelers on a Predator plant who “discover unspeakable horrors.”
The films is due out July 7, 2010 while Machete does not yet have a firm release date.
