Characters solidified for ‘Green Lantern’: Washington DC holds casting call for “scummy senator”
It’s official: Sinestro to be the main villian in ‘Green Lantern’
It is quite possibly the least surprising news of the day. A casting call for Warner Bros’ upcoming superhero feature, Green Lantern, has been made and the news kinda’ sorta’ interesting.
In the press release, we can confirm that, yes, Sinestro, the one time GL-turned-baddie, will be the villain along with Hal Jordan’s one-time flame, Carol Ferris.
Other characters include Dr. Hector Hammond who is described as an “austere and impersonal, real scummy, a pathologist and also the son of a senator”. Aren’t most of ‘em?
Abin Sur, the alien who left the power ring to Hal, will also be in the film.
Check it out:
[CAROL FERRIS] 26-32, a smart and attractive woman with an MBA. She started as a pilot and now runs Ferris Aircraft. She is a work-a-holic…FEMALE LEAD
[DR. HECTOR HAMMOND] 27-35, Character actor who is austere and impersonal, he is real “scummy.” He is a pathologist and also the son of a Senator.
[SINESTRO] Mid-30s to Mid-40s, he is smart, tough, intimidating and in great physical shape.
[ABIN SUR] Mid-30s to mid-40s, he is a great warrior.
