JC Chasez, a former member of the ‘NSync band and presently a judge of America’s Best Dance Crew performed an act completely different on New Year’s Day. This time, he became the hero of the day when he was able to protect a one-year old from a potentially life-threatening situation.
As the former singer was enjoying Miami Beach, a helicopter that was flying a bit too near the beach grounds caused a beach umbrella to go flying towards the direction of one-year old Shirel and mother Netali Nissim. Chasez realized soon enough that the flying umbrella posed a danger to the child, and reacting quickly, reached out for it, securing it before it could cause any harm to the child.
Nissim had this to say about Chasez: “Shirel is safe because of him. I want to tell him thank you from the bottom of my heart. If it had not been for him, my daughter could have been seriously hurt.”
35-year old JC Chasez was on vacation with girlfriend Nicole at that time on a neighboring beach of the Fontainebleau, which was where the incident with the helicopter occurred. Guests who were around the beach said that Chasez remained “sweet and humble” with the heroic act he had done. Certainly a great day for the guy who made the song “All day long, I dream about sex” famous.
