Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel to join Joe Carnahan’s ‘A-Team’
Biel to add hotness to ‘The A-Team’
As The A-Team keeps growing, so does interest in the big-screen adaptation of the hit ’80s show.
Sharlto Copley (District 9) has joined the cast of 20th Century Fox’s The A-Team while hot stuff Jessica Biel is in final talks. Copley will play Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock and Biel, who is coming off her direct-to-video internet search sensation Powder Blue, will play an U.S. Army general hot on the trail of the mercenaries. She’s also the ex-lover of Faceman, played by The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper.
The A-Team will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin’ Aces) will also star Liam Neeson and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson with Ridley Scott, Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell producing.
The film will hit U.S. theaters on June 11, 2010.
